Bo Bice Break Down: American Idol Finalist Called ‘White Boy’ at Popeyes, ’Racial Prejudice’
Can you be racist to white people? Bo Bicethinks so.
Bo Bice first made headlines when he camesecond to Carrie Underwood in 2005’s American Idol.
But now he’s making headlines for claimingreverse racism.
He was at an airport Popeyes when a groupof African American employees made fun of his name, referring to him as “Bow-Bow,”“Boo-Boo,” and “Bo-Bo.
” The employees accidentally rang his orderin twice.
So when they called for him a second a time, one of the workers allegedly said,“He’s already got his — that white boy there.
” Bice claims that corporate didn’t respondto him so he posted about it on Facebook.
He told Fox News, “If the tables had beenturned and I used something as insensitive like that… I would be boycotted, there wouldbe people not buying my albums, there would be people coming and picketing my shows andeverything else.
